For the gourmet visitor- Shaldon village boasts a wonderful collection of pubs and Restaurants - amongst which we have a coffee shop " Shaldon Coffee Rush" which has the best coffees and cakes etc you could find in the area-and a Restaurant " Ode"-which in mentioned in the Michelin Guide, and Good Food guide 2009, and has a listing in the AA Guide 2009 ( awarded 2 Rosettes June 2009 ). All in walking distance of Ringmore House.

Over the River in Teignmouth you will find the Owl & Pussycat Restaurant, and for slightly more informal dining with lots of seafood-Nautilus Restaurant.

Newly opened in Teignmouth, you can also find Take2, situated in the old Riviera cinema on the Den.
